Considering the company’s reputation and the safety of our customers, at Biogened S.A. we demand the highest care about the quality of our products, and we control the fulfilment of standards at every stage of the production process.
In December 2017, BIOGENED S.A. received the prestigious Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certificate, which confirms the implementation and maintenance of a quality system meeting the requirements of EN ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetics – Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
The obtained GMP certificate means that at BIOGENED S.A., each batch of DERMEDIC cosmetic products placed on the market has been manufactured:
- by trained personnel with the knowledge required for the position,
- in facilities constructed, maintained and operated so as to protect the manufactured product from contamination, confusion and loss of quality,
- using high-standard production lines,
- using raw materials that meet the required acceptability criteria, inspected and approved for use by the Quality Department,
- in a repetitive manner, following strictly defined technological instructions and in accordance with established operating procedures,
- tested by competent personnel in the Physico-Chemical and Microbiological Laboratory using current valid methods,
- stored in monitored conditions that guarantee the required quality is maintained,
- prepared for shipment in such a way as to protect the products distributed from loss of quality.
All these principles, which are a priority in our everyday work, allow us to ensure the safety and repeatable high quality of each batch and each DERMEDIC product, and are a guarantee of the prestige and reputation recorded in the brand’s history.
